Welcome to KrishiBidX. By registering, accessing or using the platform, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and any additional terms applicable to specific services or transactions.

1. About the Platform

KrishiBidX is a technology-enabled agricultural commerce platform designed to facilitate marketplace listings, online auctions, tenders, RFQs, reverse auctions, contract farming opportunities, procurement, logistics and related services.

The precise role of KrishiBidX in each transaction—marketplace facilitator, procurement intermediary, service provider or contracting party—will be specified in the relevant service terms and transaction documents.

2. Eligibility and Registration

Users must have the legal capacity and authority required to use the relevant services.

Users must provide accurate information and valid documents when requested. Business users must ensure that their representatives are authorized to act on their behalf.

KrishiBidX may verify, suspend or restrict accounts where information is inaccurate, documents are invalid, fraud is suspected or applicable rules are violated.

3. Marketplace Listings

Sellers are responsible for ensuring that their listings accurately describe the goods or services offered, including:

- Commodity, variety, grade and quality.

- Quantity, unit of measurement and available stock.

- Price, applicable taxes and other charges.

- Origin, harvest or production details where relevant.

- Required licenses, certifications and supporting documents.

- Delivery timelines, packaging and storage conditions.

Listings must comply with applicable laws and platform rules. Prohibited, restricted, counterfeit, misrepresented or unlawfully traded goods may be removed.

4. Auctions and Bidding

All auction participation must take place through KrishiBidX.

Users must submit genuine bids, comply with auction-specific rules and avoid collusion, shill bidding, bid manipulation or other deceptive conduct.

Auction rules will specify the applicable start price, bid increment, reserve price where applicable, Buy Now option where offered, closing time, extension rules and winner determination process.

A winning bid creates the obligations described in the relevant auction rules and transaction documents. KrishiBidX may review suspicious activity, cancel invalid bids or suspend an auction in accordance with its rules and applicable law.

5. Tenders, RFQs and Procurement

Buyers may publish procurement requirements, tenders, RFQs, RFPs and reverse auctions. Suppliers may submit quotations, technical proposals and supporting documents through the platform.

KrishiBidX may facilitate eligibility checks, clarification requests, quotation comparisons, evaluation workflows and contract documentation.

Submission of a quotation or participation in an RFQ does not automatically guarantee an award. Award criteria, deadlines, eligibility requirements and binding obligations will be specified in the applicable procurement notice.

6. No Direct Buyer–Seller Interaction

KrishiBidX is designed to facilitate controlled, platform-mediated transactions.

Quotations, clarifications, negotiations, document exchange and transaction-related communications must take place through authorized platform channels. Users must not attempt to bypass platform controls or misuse another participant's confidential information.

Where disclosure of legal identity or contact details is required by law, invoicing, delivery, contracting or transaction performance, the required information may be disclosed through appropriate controlled workflows.

7. Contracts and Purchase Orders

A transaction may require a purchase order, supply agreement, contract farming agreement, letter of intent or other written instrument.

The relevant documents will identify the contracting parties, scope, specifications, price, payment terms, delivery obligations, inspection requirements, cancellation conditions and dispute procedures.

KrishiBidX will not be deemed a party to every underlying sale or supply contract merely because it facilitates the transaction. Its responsibilities will depend on the applicable agreement and law.

8. Payments, Fees and Settlements

Applicable commissions, listing charges, auction fees, service fees, logistics charges, taxes and other fees will be disclosed before the relevant transaction is confirmed.

Payments and settlements must use the methods authorized by the platform. Any escrow, safeguarded-funds or milestone-based payment service will operate only where the relevant arrangement is available and legally permitted.

Settlement timelines may depend on payment confirmation, delivery, inspection, documentation and dispute status.

9. Delivery, Inspection and Quality

Sellers must meet the agreed specifications, quantities and delivery schedules. Buyers must provide accurate delivery information and comply with agreed inspection and acceptance procedures.

Quality claims must be supported by relevant evidence and submitted within the timelines specified in the applicable transaction terms.

KrishiBidX may facilitate inspection, sampling, grading, logistics and dispute resolution, subject to the service purchased and the applicable agreement.

10. User Conduct and Platform Integrity

Users must not:

- Submit false documents, listings, quotations or bids.

- Manipulate auctions or collude with other participants.

- Circumvent platform fees or transaction controls.

- Attempt unauthorized access to accounts or data.

- Upload unlawful, misleading or infringing content.

- Interfere with platform operations or security.

Violations may result in listing removal, transaction review, account suspension, recovery of amounts due or other action permitted by law.

11. Intellectual Property

KrishiBidX's branding, software, interface, original content and platform technology are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Users retain their rights in content they lawfully own, while granting the platform the permissions reasonably necessary to host, display, process and use that content to provide the requested services.

12. Disputes and Grievances

Users should raise transaction disputes through the platform's designated dispute-resolution process. KrishiBidX may facilitate communication, review records and coordinate resolution in accordance with the applicable agreement.

Nothing in these Terms removes any statutory rights or remedies available under applicable law.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, KrishiBidX will not be responsible for losses arising solely from inaccurate user-provided information, a participant's independent breach of contract, or circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, or overrides any mandatory statutory obligation applicable to KrishiBidX.

14. Suspension and Termination

KrishiBidX may restrict or terminate access for material violations, suspected fraud, legal requirements, security risks or non-payment of applicable fees. Outstanding obligations and accrued rights remain subject to the relevant agreements and applicable law.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, subject to applicable mandatory legal provisions and the jurisdiction provisions of the relevant agreement.

16. Amendments

KrishiBidX may update these Terms to reflect changes in services, operations or applicable law. Updated Terms will be published with an effective date.
